The MagiDrive range is available with
a variety of actuation methods, suitable for both research and
production systems. |

|
Manually
driven MagiDrives are available with thumb-screw brakes, calibrated
thimbles and timing
pulleys for end user motorisation. The MD16 can be fitted with
an external friction system, providing resistance to free motion,
typically used for general positioning applications. |

Pneumatically
actuated MagiDrives are predominantly used for source shutter applications
and have adjustable sweep from 30-170º. Optional 'Auto switch'
assemblies are available to provide confirmation of the position
status. For further information, please

Motorised
MagiDrives can be DC or stepper motor driven and are
available with a selection of motors to match the load, speed and
positioning requirements of each application.
To ensure system compatibility, motors
can be mounted either to the side (as shown to the right) or inline with the
drive. Motors are easily removed for bakeout and have pre-set mounting
brackets to ensure the correct belt tension is maintained when replaced.
UHV Design can also supply motor controllers, such as the hand-held
DC controller or the programmable
stepper motor control centre. |
