Introduction to MicroFlanges
The CF10 MicroFlange is the smallest UHV flange on the market, accepting 10 mm diameter tubes. The range compliments the conventional Conflat range of flanges by providing system and instrument designers with additional choice and flexibility.

Sealing techniques
The method of sealing employs a copper gasket trapped between two knife edged flanges. Six M3 bolts apply the equired torque to ensure the correct bite pattern for UHV sealing. All the MicroFlanges accept metric washers which is essential for reliable bolting. All flanges are manufactured from 316L stainless steel.

Micro Reducing Adaptors
Zero length adaptors allow the CF10 MicroFlange to be adapted between conventional CF16 (1.33” OD CF) and CF38 (2.75” OD CF) flanges.
