The MultiCentre provides a complete solution for sample transfer and manipulation. Typical applications include analytical instrumentation for surface analysis equipment and synchrotron end stations.
MultiCentres are modular by design, utilising the MultiStage range to provide X, Y and Z translations. The unique ‘Rotatable Axis’ X/Y stages can also be employed to provide eucentric stage motion. UHV Design’s MagiDrive rotary feedthroughs are utilised to provide precise primary and secondary rotation options.
Numerous sophisticated manipulator end stations / receptors are available to handle samples from 10mm diameter to 60mm diameter using UHV Design’s bayonet sample transfer system or to provide compatibility with various commonly used industry systems such as the VG ESCALAB Stub system, the PHI 1” puck, the Omicron 1” puck, and the Omicron STM/AFM square plate sample.
For each of these, sample heating cooling options are available to provide heating / cooling from 1000oC to LN2 or LHe.
Also full motorisation is available for all axes.
