Two of the PSMCC1 input terminals are
provided for jogging the motor. If the driver is connected to a PC with
the programming software running, the jog inputs will function if the
program is not executing or the program is executing a Wait Input
command. If the driver is operating in stand alone mode (i.e. without a
computer attached) then the jog inputs work when the program is
executing the Wait Input instruction. |

To set the Jog Speed and Jog accel/decel
rate, adjust the scroll bars in the main programming window. We
recommend setting the accel/decel to a modest rate. 25 rev/s/s usually
works well unless you have a very high inertial load, in which case you
should set it to a lower rate. The range of jog accel is 1 to 3000
rev/s/s. The range of jog speed is .025 to 50 rev/sec. The speed you
choose will depend on your application. |
