MMI Prompt

The MMI prompt allows you to directly interface with the PSMCC driver programme during an executed set of commands.  The interface is via an MMI emulator screen that appears when the programme is executed, as long as the p.c. is connected to the PSMCC and MMI commands have been used.

The MMI emulator is an excellent way to interface with the driver if the programme is likely to be frequently changed.  Parameters such and distance and speed can be changed without the need to halt the programme and download the new values.  These values are stored in a non-volatile memory in the PSMCC so they are retained if the unit is powered down.

Also the MMI emulator can be set to enable the motor to be jogged in either direction via the arrow keys, instead of using the hand held jog facility.
The following options are available with the MMI prompt:
bulletDisplay text.
bulletDisplay text and wait for enter.
bulletDisplay text, wait for yes/no and branch on yes.
bulletDisplay text and get distance.
bulletDisplay text and get speed.
bulletDisplay text and get repeat count.
bulletMMI menu - branch on number keys.
bulletUse arrow keys to jog motor.
