Motor compatibility

Most of UHV Design's range of stepper driven productss and others with NEMA 17, 23 and 34 (limited to 3.5A per phase 42 Volts).

Electrical supply

Factory set for 110 Vac (PSMCC_ - 110V) or 220 Vac (PSMCC_ - 220V), 50 - 6- Hz.

Front panel facilities

Mains ON / OFF, Emergency stop, Start and Jog lemo style connector.

Rear panel facilities

Interlock 9 pin 'D' connector, Motor lemo style connector, Output 9 pin 'D' connector, Input 9 pin 'D' connector, PC 9 pin 'D' interface connector and IEC mains input.

Limit switching

Facility for two mechanical switches

Inputs

3 off spare inputs.  Inputs may be TTL, PLC or mechanical switches.  On board power supply for input switching

Driver

MOSFET driver: Providing 3.5 Amps per phase at 42 Volts and microstepping to 50800 steps per revolution.

Controller

Programming platform: Micrsoft Windows TM based software for easy setup and programming.  RS232cable connects your PC for programming (PC running Windows TM 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT or XP with a 9 pin serial port).

PSMCC-RJ Jog facility

Optional remote jog facility for connection to the PSMCC front panel.

PSMCC-MC Motor cable

Optional 5m motor cable for connection to the PSMCC.  Includes connectors at each end.  A further matching connector is supplied for attaching to the motor.

PSMCC-OC Output cable

Optional 5m output cable with a 9 pin 'D' type connector for PSMCC connection. Terminating with a flying for user output wiring.

PSMCC-IC Input cable

Optional 5m Input cable with a 9 pin 'D' type connector for PSMCC connection.  Terminating with a flying lead for user input wiring.

PSMCC-COMM Communications cable

1.5m cable terminating with two 9 pin 'D' type connectors to interface between PSMCC2 and other PSMCC terminals.

PSMCC-PC PC cable

3m PC cable terminating with two 9 pin 'D' type connectors to interface between the PSMCC1 or PSMCC2 PC terminal.

PSMCC-INT Interlock cable

350mm Interlock cable terminating with two 9 pin 'D' type connectors to interface between the PSMCC terminals.
