| The wobble stick is one of the simplest manipulation tools
available, translating hand movements, with defined freedom, through a
vacuum enclosure. |

| The
wobbles stick series is based upon UHV Design’s
PowerProbe
technology, which provides high power linear and rotary motion through a
magnetic coupling. The wobble stick range includes two series, the:

| Design concept |
|
|
| The UHV Design wobble stick is
a modular concept. The basic ‘WS’ stick provides two degrees of
freedom, rotation and linear push/pull. By adding a bellows
adaptor, the stick will also provide tilt, therefore offering three-axis
of movement (WST series). |

| Magnetic
Coupling |
|
| The wobble sticks benefit from
the high strength and stiffness characteristics provided by all UHV
Design’s magnetically coupled products. |
|
| The magnetic coupling
eliminates the need for long bellows ‘stacks’, typically employed
with conventional wobble stick designs. This reduces the risk of leaks
and in doing so, improves reliability for sensitive applications. |
