UHV Design's MultiStage XYZ manipulators deliver high
performance UHV motion for a competitive price. The range is
modular utilising the MultiBase
X/Y stages to provide two generic platforms offering +/-14mm
and +/-31mm X/Y motion
(vector). Various Linear
Shift Mechanisms can then be fitted to these platforms to provide
between 25mm (1") and 1000mm (39") Z stroke. Standard
configurations are listed below, with customised strokes available upon
request.
Internal bellows support tubes can also be provided. |

MultiStage XYZ manipulators benefit
from a kinematic motion design, providing smooth and reliable
motion. The XY mechanism incorporates a high precision drive and
guidance system, removing the requirement for vulnerable cross-roller
slides used by other manufacturers. Combining this with the XYZ's
rigid construction, allows mounting in any orientation without
additional supports. This simplifies system designs, reducing the
mounting space required and the overall cost. |

MultiStage XYZ manipulators are
offered with manual or motorised actuation. Manual XY actuation is
delivered via a combined micrometer handwheel and linear scale
assembly. Manual Z motion can be fitted with a 1mm increment scale
or the new Digital Linear Scale assembly, providing a high resolution
readout (Add DLA to the end of the part number). For motorisation, DC and stepper motor driven solutions are available, along with UHV Design's PSMCC
and SADC
motion controllers. |
