In 2020, LINAC will come to England, the birthplace of accelerator science and take place at the Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool, UK from 30 August - 4 September 2020.
Following a long and successful tradition of almost 60-year’s, LINAC2020 will feature invited and contributed talks, as well as poster sessions and an industry exhibition. The scientific programme will be complemented by social events that promote informal knowledge exchange, plus for the first time in LINAC we will host a Women in Science and Engineering event. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities for all those who would like to support the event and gain visibility.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to see the new CLARA Free Electron Laser test accelerator, plus witnessing the SRF cavity qualification facility providing accelerating cavities for the European Spallation Neutron source in Sweden and crab-cavity cryomodule preparation for HL-LHC and CERN, each of which being available at the local STFC Daresbury Laboratory.
We will be exhibiting and showcasing some of our motion and manipulation products specifically designed for beamline diagnostic positioning, including our Pneumatically Actuated Translator designed for CERN to allow them to replace bellows devices from critical beamline applications.
