UHV Design Achieves ISO 14001 and EcoVadis Bronze Rating

At UHV Design, we recognise that responsible manufacturing and strong environmental performance are not just expectations—they are essential to the long‑term health of our industry, our customers, and the environment. Over the past year, we have continued to develop our sustainability strategy, focusing on measurable actions that strengthen our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. We are pleased to share two important milestones that reflect this ongoing commitment.

Achieving ISO 14001 Certification

Last year, after a coordinated cross‑business effort, UHV Design achieved ISO 14001 certification. This accreditation now sits alongside our established ISO 9001 certification and confirms that our environmental management system meets the internationally recognised standard for effective environmental stewardship. ISO 14001 ensures we have robust processes in place to manage environmental impact, optimise resource use, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement—all of which support sustainable growth.

EcoVadis Bronze Rating and Significant Score Improvement

Our latest EcoVadis assessment awarded UHV Design a Bronze medal, reflecting a substantial improvement on our previous year’s score. EcoVadis is one of the world’s most reputable sustainability rating platforms, assessing more than 130,000 companies across environmental performance, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Our improved rating places UHV Design in the top 35% of manufacturing companies assessed globally, reinforcing that the changes we are making are having a meaningful and verifiable impact.

Looking Ahead

We are not stopping here. Several new initiatives are already underway, and we have established a clear roadmap for short‑ and medium‑term ESG development. This includes further enhancements to our environmental management processes, strengthening supply‑chain transparency, and progressing additional sustainability and business improvement programmes.
